Zimbabwe Investment and Development Agency – ZIDA

ZIDA is Zimbabwe’s central investment promotion and facilitation agency, established to streamline and accelerate investment processes across all sectors of the economy. Formed under the ZIDA Act [Chapter 14:37], the agency serves as a one-stop investment services center, providing both domestic and foreign investors with guidance, licensing, and aftercare services.

• Investment Licensing:
  Granting investment licenses across all sectors, including manufacturing, mining, energy, agriculture, and tourism.

• One-Stop Shop Services:
  Coordinating with government agencies (e.g., ZIMRA, Immigration, EMA) to streamline registration, permits, and approvals.

• Investment Promotion:
  Actively marketing Zimbabwe’s investment opportunities locally and globally through roadshows, conferences, and digital platforms.

• Investor Aftercare:
  Providing ongoing support to ensure regulatory compliance, resolve challenges, and help businesses expand.

• Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs):
  Facilitating major infrastructure and development projects through private sector participation.
